President's Message:

The Chrysler 300 Club, Inc. announces details of their 2012 Spring Meet.

Greetings 300 Enthusiasts, Friends, Buddies and Pals:

The news in this message is mainly of the Spring Meet of the Chrysler
300 Club, Inc. to be held at the Orleans Hotel in western-centrally
located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

We like the Orleans for numerous reasons, one of which is easy parking.
Those of us with motor homes or trucks with trailers are particularly fond
of this feature.

Our block of rooms runs from April 10 through April 15, 2012. Tuesday
- Thursday at $40.00 per night single or double. Friday and Saturday
night $104.00 and if you wish to stay for the MoPars at the Strip awards
on Sunday your room will be $52.00 for Sunday night.

We are trying out a new format in this Spring Meet. We will have
our show inside of the MoPars at the Strip activities. This is known as
the wildest MoParty in the west.

The founders and managers have promised our group a private
section for our Brutes all to ourselves. Bring your cross-ram dual-quad
hemi or a Chrysler 300 of any year and show them off. Or, just bring
yourself and enjoy the show and Las Vegas.

Educate some of the others to the fact that the hemi was not created
in the Charger, Cuda or Challenger. This is an opportunity to show off
a little to the other generations and let them know some of the history
of the hemi and The BIG Brutes.

Come check out their swap meet—it's amazing what you will find
there. Last year there were many cross- rams for sale. Also they
have lots of vendors with remanufactured and updated parts and some
hard to find items I have never seen before.

And, of course, the drag races will be run every day if you choose
to go enjoy them. They always get some blood boiling, Is it the smell
of burning rubber or the just the rush we get when they leave the line
and roar by so quickly.

Unfortunately, entrance to their activities will be an extra fee paid
to their event. There is a price list is on their webpage along with phone
numbers you may call to have an entrance form sent to you by regular
mail to get the Pre-Registration discounts.

We will have Popular Choice ballots to judge our part of the show.
If you wish you car judged by MoPars at the Strip, that information is
also on their website.

We will have our regular auction, and banquet with our awards at
The Orleans. The host hotel for MoPars at the strip is the Cannery Hotel.
They have concerts and entertainment every night there for MoPars at
the Strip participants.

Stop by and check them out.

They close off the street behind the hotel and reserve it for the
MoPars only and offer excellent security for all. This Hotel is also SOLD
OUT for this event, Does that tell you anything about this gathering?

We will be having some free nights with no activities planned after our
dining, depending on your arrival and departure dates. Myself, I
recommend MYSTER'E by CIRQUE DU SOLEIL at the Treasure Island
Hotel.

Such a wonderful show with a captivating story I have seen it no less
than eight times and still find something new and exciting in every time.

Bruce Toelle recommends The Blue Man Group, performed at The Venetian.

He commented to me how much they enjoyed this production.

The Orleans has shuttle busses to the strip. Of course there is The Duce
Double Decker bus or the regular busses that run all day and night.

And the taxi's in the event you do not bring a car, or like myself do not
want your pride and joy left out in the public lots or with valets. Let's
group up and go see some shows together.

Spending time with or making new friends is always healthy, Shake a
hand and find a friend or offer to be a friend.

You do not have to be a member of the Chrysler 300 Club, Inc. to join
in the fun.

Simply fill out an entrance form, come to the show and banquet; we will
give your name to our membership coordinator and let him do his best to
recruit you. We offer special invitations to our fellow Chrysler 300 fans in
the Chrysler 300 Club International, Inc. and the WPC Club. You will be
treated as the true brothers and sisters that you are.

And a short reminder, we will be conducting our Fall National Meet in
Nashville, Tennessee, September, 24 through September 28, 2012.

I am sure you will join me in offering The Goers our condolences after
the passing of Gary's father. Mr. Otto Goers left us Dec. 1, 2011 at the age
of 96.

A watchmaker, self taught tool and die maker, tennis and bowling
enthusiast. He sounds like quite an admirable fellow.

We also need volunteers to host meets in 2013, step up to the plate
and give it a shot. Have a hundred or more of your nearest and dearest
friends to your town or a party.

Remember, without You. There is no Us. Group Unity keeps our
hobby alive and thriving. It does a pretty good job at finding parts and
creating smiles too.

Thanks, See you at the Meets.

*************************************************************
The Chrysler 300 was a milestone car in automotive history and the legend
lives on today, more than fifty years after it was first introduced in 1955.
This story chronicles the cars and the people who had a vision to build a car
company based on strong engineering innovations, the people who crafted
the cars, and the people who restore them and drive them today.

The Chrysler 300 Club Inc was formed in Portland, Oregon in 1969, originally
to recognize the Letter Series Chrysler 300s built from 1955 through 1965.

In 1981 the Non-Letter 300 series built from 1962 through 1971 and the 1979
Cordoba 300 were also included in the club.

The club was created for enthusiasts of Chrysler 300 automobiles.

Ownership of a 300 is not required for membership. Members of the club enjoy
camaraderie, share stories and information on the maintenance, restoration and
acquisition of these beautiful, unique automobiles.

National Meets are held annually, usually in the summer. Club members are
encouraged to participate in activities and meets whether or not their cars are
restored.

Membership in the club includes a subscription to our quarterly magazine, Brute Force.
